Canyonlands National Park

We have 3 full days in Moab, which allows us to visit Canyonlands National Park as well. This park is a 30-mile drive North and West of Moab. The weather was cooler than the day before and we walked through misty clouds to discover more mysterious arches.

Park info: Canyonlands invites you to explore a wilderness of countless canyons and fantastically formed buttes carved by the Colorado River and its tributaries.

Rivers divide the park into four districts: the Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze, and the rivers themselves. These areas share a primitive desert atmosphere, but each offers different opportunities for sightseeing and adventure.
